The purpose of this web site will be to encourage parent and student communication by displaying projects students
have completed as well as providing additional opportunities for students to inquire about topics. This site
specifically covers reading and writing topics and projects. Once I am a practicing professional, I will identify in
class and on this web page why students are undergoing particular activities when the activity is introduced. Since
I am not a practicing teacher, references to articles read during Module 1 and resources that were explored
during Module 2 of an Integrating Literacy and Technology course taken at the University of Missouri-Columbia aided the
creation of the site and are referred to throughout this site.
